Should John Bolton testify in private or in public ??

Or should he not testify at all?

Everyone can wait for his book?

John Bolton says he wants to testify before Schiff's Committee. Are they afraid of something he might say? Or do they simply do not trust him?

If the latter be the case, it would seem a public hearing might be preferable? They would need to discuss the parameters.

Let the people decide for themselves? A fraud and a con are soon discovered.

That will be a decision that Nancy and Adam will have to make for the Democrats, if Bolton decides to tell what he knows?

It is the Congress that calls the shots.

on cable news last night who said that Dems should petition the judge who is ruling on the subpoena for Bolton's aide, to expedite his decision. Bolton stated he would testify if the courts permit it. It doesn't matter to me if he testifies in public or not but his testimony would be huge. Repubs won't be able to claim he is a partisan. There is no reason the judge can't make a decision before his December date.

I don't trust him. It would be stupid to give him platform without knowing what he will say.

first having a committee interview to determine if the testimony is worthwhile.

Got to know where it all fits in the whole picture.

having testimony in a logical order, grouping them to make the strongest public case.

Put the building blocks together in the right order.

Bolton could conceivably have an ulterior motive so it's just safer. It would be reckless to announce explosive testimony from Bolton and do it publicly without knowing for certain what he'll testify to. Also, it's less likely to be a circus if it's private.
