Dems' point person for impeaching Trump won the last Senate impeachment trial

Congressman Adam Schiff was the lead prosecutor for the 2010 impeachment of a federal judge, the last impeachment case to go to trial in the U.S. Senate. The judge was convicted by an overwhelming margin. Former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, who judged that trial, joins Ari Melber to share her memories of Schiff’s approach to the case.

direct and cross examine of witnesses. It is not a skill that is easily learned and while some people are natural litigators, most attorneys spend a lifetime honing their trial skills. You cannot just “wing-it”
as I suspect Republicans intend to do. They will look stupid and foolish and no match for people like Schiff.
