"President" Haley

Just a speculation:
Nikki Haley is really getting a lot of positive media attention.
What if Trump were to step down (bone spurs, whatever) The impeachment thing would lose its momentum. I think the fun is over for him.

She'd be perfect
Attractive and articulate.
Just enough negative remarks about Trump while not alienating the Trumpers
Women's vote
A person of color

Wait for it...…...

And that amount of women may be @32%, if voter fraud was not an issue in the last presidential election. So over 2/3 of women will not be voting for this garbage. And why is it that the "woman's vote" somehow magically includes everyone? POC? Which ones?In order to support a sociopath, she must be mentally ill as well.

I'm not suggesting that I support Haley's candidacy. I am suggesting that she's going to make a run. She's not an airhead like Palin. She's not a milquetoast like Pence. She's not gross like Trump.

Self-serving, at others' expense, on a level that rivals the Malignant Narcissist Manbaby-in-Chief himself.

Any momentary flicker of respect I might have ever had for her is thoroughly extinguished.

He isn't going to take one for the team. He only gives a fuck about Trump and he does not have the capacity to act strategically only to react in the moment.

And frankly we get sick of hearing that.

Just because she is a woman doesn't mean she gets the "Women's vote". Same with persons of color. Do you think they are all of the sudden gonna just switch from Democrat to Republican because...boobs?

I don't think so.

But Republicans keep looking at demographic boxes to tick off.

How else do you explain the timing of their hiring (and the subsequent firing) of Chairman (and man in restaurant who keeps getting Grover Monster as his waiter) Michael Steele?

Her fifteen minutes of fame will be over in a couple of days when all eyes are on the impeachment hearings. Then it'll be "Nikki who?"

The Evangelicals are not going to go for a woman. It just won't happen, imo. Most of them don't even have women as pastors.
