Folks, this is kind of a big deal.

Not that we didn't know it, but to have it confirmed in a court of law and all.

Wow we are done with direct examination!

Prosecutor’s essentially end with Gates telling the world that Trump was told by Stone more Wikileaks info was coming.

Here’s how the the question went by Aaron Zelinsky, a former Mueller prosecutor:

After Mr Trump got off the phone with Mr Stone, what did Trump say?

Gates: “He indicated more information would be coming."

We've gotten to a place in this country where the media barely even covers something as huge as this. Trump worked with a go between for Wikileaks to leak DNC emails, this is a crime.

What sort of media coverage do you expect within 18 minutes?

Former top Trump official details campaign’s dealings on WikiLeaks, and suggests Trump was in the know

Gates testifies he was told by Paul Manafort that Trump would be updated on disclosure of hacked Democratic emails as government rests its case.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/11/12/politics/roger-stone-trial-rick-gates-testimony/index.html

(CNN)A top aide to Donald Trump's 2016 campaign revealed new details in court testimony Tuesday about Trump's reaction to dumps of information from WikiLeaks at key moments in the race.

Former deputy campaign chair Rick Gates testified that he was riding in a Chevy Suburban from LaGuardia Airport in New York in mid-2016 when Trump took a late-evening phone call from his longtime associate Roger Stone, where the pair apparently discussed WikiLeaks' planned release of hacked Democratic emails.

"After Mr. Trump got off the phone with Mr. Stone, what did Mr. Trump say?" prosecutor Aaron Zelinsky asked Gates. "He indicated more information would be coming," Gates responded, in testimony at Stone's criminal trial in Washington.

Trump's statement was he "didn't recall." Unless refuted that sort of covers him on the "lying/perjury" charge. The next step up would be, was there something inherently criminal (or guilty) in the call itself?

Understand, IMO the whole campaign was a cesspool of corruption and dirty dealing .. but Mueller reported what he reported (not what I wished) .. and Mueller additionally stated that he was not impeded or shut down. So, absent further evidence ... I'm not sure where your claim of shut down or ample evidence arises.

other side must present "superior" proof? But that's all moot for impeachment since the Senate is the judge and jury and we know where the GOP is on this. So yeah, without "a stained dress", impeachment isn't going to happen.

There will be articles of impeachment brought to the Senate. And there is great value in that in terms of public opinion, the resultant vote in 2020, and legacy — absolutely. ... I am just enormously frustrated by a self/serving rigged jury — the GOP controlled Senate. They are all traitors to the Constitution and democracy in my book.
