Jimmy Carter in recovery now.

Latest report says the procedure was completed with no complications. He will remain in the hospital as long as necessary for his recovery.

This is just a bump in the road. He'll be back putting in a good day's work before long. I remember a recent post about Garth Brooks working with him on a Habitat for Humanity project. Brooks couldn't keep up with him.

I hope this good man can keep going. I root for both him and RBG to remain sharp as a tack and mobile for as long as possible. It is astounding how they take health scares in stride and keep on being incredible examples of human beings.
We are so fortunate to have had Jimmy Carter as a president.
