Or breakwater or whatever they call it. If I recall correctly theyre working on trying to save the city.

The water in San Marco was ankle deep, so I went barefoot. It's still worth visiting. Cleaning up and repairs after this will take some time, though.

Before the onslaught of tourist and other issues. The hostel was closed for the winter and I ended up sleeping in the police station. What an amazing experience.
