The part of a legal complaint that specifies what relief is being requested is termed the "prayer".

This reminds me of an interview of Jimmy Carter that I read years ago.

He was asked about his faith and, specifically, if God answered all prayers. His reply was "Of course. Sometimes He says 'Yes'; sometimes He says 'No'; and, sometimes He says 'You've got to be kidding!'"

I think that third alternative should be the judiciary's prompt response to most of the nonsensical garbage being filed by Republicans to impede the impeachment proceecings.
