If Donald Trump was not motivated by personal interests in demanding the Ukrainian government investigate "corruption" (of which the only two examples he ever provided was Hunter Biden and the DNC), if he was somehow acting on a greater interest on behalf of both the American government and the Ukrainian people, then why did he ask the Ukrainian President to speak with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani--a man who was never appointed to anything and who held zero security clearances?

That's it.

That's all you need to ask.

There's no honest way to answer that question and defend Trump.
