Trump reveals the moment he thinks went best for him in impeachment's first day

The president insisted Wednesday afternoon, during a meeting with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, that he hadn’t watched “one minute” of the first public testimony, by two State Department witnesses — but he reacted the following day on Twitter.

“(Rep. John Ratcliffe) asked the two ‘star’ witnesses, ‘where is the impeachable event in that call?'” Trump tweeted. “Both stared straight ahead with a blank look on their face, remained silent, & were unable to answer the question. That would be the end of a case run by normal people! – but not Shifty!”

If that is his best moment??? That moment when he demonstrates that he can't tell the difference between judge, prosecutor and witness... that moment was his best moment....

When the republicans were pushing the Clinton email thing and accusing her of not using a secure server etc, and also asking Putin to find her emails. I thought that all government mail of any kind was supposed to be secure. Now today we have Trump saying he did not remember a phone call he had with another head of state, and apparently everyone in the White House could be in the room. I also thought that a president's communications were to be kept in secure files for historical purposes.
Guess I was mistaken and that does not apply to Trump.

A reporter asked Scalia what is impeachable. His reply was whatever the House thinks is impeachable.

statements promoting their "alternative facts" so the questions are not questions at all. They are mini speeches addressed to the American viewing audience. They have no intention of asking serious, fact finding questions.

So they sound funny to us for their non seqiturs and despicable for their spin and outright lies, but they are getting their message out to the general audience. Thst is their sole intent.
