Republican legislature will rush through bills to limit the governor's authority. That seems to be how Republicans respond to defeat and the "will of the people".

is that Beshear will have to work with all repubs in KY. Michigan Dem Governor Whitmer has a similar problemm, but with not all repubs. They don't want to work with her and I hope Beshear will be able to work with repubs in kY.

Just saw a GREAT one I'd like to share.
Guy on a bed, dressed in a bathrobe, speaking on a phone: "Hello. Can I have a wake-up call?"
Female front desk clerk on the phone, with a big ol' grin: "You lost the election!"

If anyone can post a link, I'd appreciate it. Almost as much as I appreciate the schadenfreude (as an expatriated Kentuckian).

Although Trump and Bevin are very much bed-fellows in that line of thinking. I'm super happy my fellow Ky native Dem friend won this and I think the state of KY will welcome Andy with arms open wide. I wish it was more of a blue wave down-ticket. There were some very good people running like Heather French Henry (ran for State Auditor) who is as honest and qualified as a rising sunset. I was also sorry to see Stumbo lose as badly as he did (ran for Ky AG). Instead, we'll have a very newb McConnell aid as AG. Stumbo got hit by too much name recognition (in a right-wing backlash way). Stumbo is a good guy and would have been an excellent check-n-balance to super-majority Rethug controlled state-senate and state-house. Too much Liberal Dem baggage in the minds of the Rethugs. Stumbo lost big too, and I doubt we'll see him come back.
