(58,785 posts)RW power. He's made a striking exception to get this out of his way as he runs for reelection.
He may actually have made this decision in consultation with China, i.e., while arranging for any additional support he might claim to need. And/or Russia. But he's been serving the Chinese plutocrats who've provided all the campaign funding he needs, and more, far longer than Moscow. We think.
In any case, it'd be interesting to know how many Repub governors those behind Mitch, enemies foreign and domestic, would sacrifice to keep him as Senate majority leader.

Beshear can now get down to business without a cloud hanging over his head.
