I have no idea how they figure this stuff out since Trump is so pardon happy. But Trump was doing the pardoning before to prevent people from throwing him under the bus in the Mueller investigation. Without that still going on there is less reason for Trump to give a shit about Stone now.

I'm still not convinced rump will pardon anyone unless there's some serious cash involved. I can't think of one person in his wake who he's taken care of.
