Lots of speculation about Trump resigning for health reasons. Sounds good for Trump, but what about Vlad? Will he just accept the loss of his asset?
Trump is so under his thumb, I am sure he would have to ask Vlad for permission to resign.

And I doubt that dump will have a happy rest-of-life. Probably won't have a chance to write a tell-all book (crayons/sharpies).
His "wife" will conveniently return to a very nice spot near the USSR.
His children - oh, who gives-a-f. Actually, it'll sorta be fun watching the Jr. trying to act like Ollie North.
The (r)epuglicon party? Same Ole, same Ole. Lies, cheating, smears, illegal bribes, contributions, etc.

(22,117 posts)friends don't care about anyone else but themselves, and the average Russian person on the streets of Moscow believes this too. I suspect knowing Putin, he's got more pokers in the fire than just rump, e.g., tulsi gabbard (imho), stefanik, and others, etc. Being a former KGB operative/director, I wouldn't be surprised and if anything, they probably knew the durability of this asset is rather limited (rump) due to his terrible health habits.

OTOH Russians are notoriously good at the long game, unlike us impatient Americans.
So that could have been just the beginning.
