The chest discomfort would explain the trip to Walter Reed.

It was in case they needed a cath. lab, I suspect. Maybe he had an angiogram? I don't think they could perform those at the WH. The blood tests probably came back neg. for acute conditions.

No troponin in the blood, a test which just so happens to take FOUR hours, no heart attack. Then, it could be a panic attack, or angina.

Moving the president around is a fairly complicated procedure, even if going just a short distance. Presidents aren't moved around the city for no good reason or for the convenience of medical personnel. If he left the White House to go to the hospital, it was because something needed to be done at the hospital that couldn't be done at the White House.

Blood work can be done at the White House but there are things that can't easily be done there. A cath procedure certainly would fit in that latter category.

I'm guessing a CT or an MRI, something where the machinery was too big to bring in.

And here's what's important, it was urgent or an emergency. The President and his people wanted to avoid the optics of this, if it was not urgent they could have snuck him in at night, they went on Saturday afternoon.

run a Cardiac Profile, which tests 4 specific enzymes that are increased in the blood during a cardiac event. Blood is drawn every hour and run through the analyzer, and the results actually produce a graph. The graph's tracings show whether or not it is truly an MI or some other condition, like angina

I forget which one has the extreme peak that causes a mad rush to the Cath Lab since I have not read a chart in years.

Anyway, it apparantly didn't show anything emergent and he came back to the WH. Now if, as some speculate, he really did not return to the WH then he did have to have a cardiac cath and maybe a stent put in to open the vessel. Considering his overall lifestyle and diet, I would expect a multi vessel bypass surgery. I just can't imagine him only needing one vessel opened.

I guess we

No need to scramble a last-minute motorcade (including communications vehicles, counter-assault team, military aides, press pool, etc.), shut down the streets, get him out of bed, make him change out of his old robe and slippers, pull him out of the security of the White House bubble, and haul him up to Walter Reed just to cause a distraction.

he is really back at the wh yet. No reporter has seen him. The ps is lying sack of steaming poo.

We know he will lie about anything. We will never know what tests were done or what the results were.

Hopefully pain an discomfort is involved, even if we will never know.
