Trump Is Not Going To Run For Re-election

because he is too ill. He will also use the same excuse to avoid going to jail. In his own mind, he keeps his dignity because he would have had the greatest victory in history if he was not ill.

Losing in Kentucky and Louisiana and the impeachment not going away. He is getting ready, that is why we have a visit to the hospital. He knows if people think he is sick, he will not go to jail. It would be too divisive and politicians would have no stomach for it, like Nixon. This way in his mind, he goes out on top and his people still love him.

I don't know if you lived through Nixon's pardon or not, but I did and let me tell you that won't fly again. The "let it go so the country can move forward and heal" crap was a HUGE mistake and one of the reasons the country is where it is today. Political crime on this level has got to have consequences all the way to the top. Trump can pretend to get as pitifully sick as he likes, he will not escape prosecution.

Line him up with all of the rest, chase down every single one of the involved parties and PROSECUTE or this country will never, ever recover from the ethical rot. Make this impeachment count: take them all out, punish them all. It's not just a question of the health of the country. The world is watching and if we don't thoroughly clean house, we will never be able to hold our heads high abroad again.

t most people (not here) would be happy he was out of office, and move on. They would just be glad it was over. Yes, I lived through Watergate and that is how most people reacted then. Ford was not elected president because of WIN (whip inflation now), not because of his pardon for Nixon. Biden's main appeal is he will heal America and return it to normalcy. If he wins all Republicans, almost all Independents and a good percentage of Democrats will support him in that. American's are not people who seek revenge. We just go with the flow

But since neither of us have a say, we'll both just have to wait and see what happens - and hope for the best.

and here is how it works:

- He resigns due to illness and then classifies it at the highest level.

- He then uses the fact that his "illness" is "classified" as a legal argument as to why he can't stand trial for State or Federal crimes because he would have to reveal classified information to defend himself.

He will be recorded in history as the most disgraceful president.
And of course, if he is impeached his shame will grow exponentially.

Just like those 1960s-70s racist Southern guvs and congressmen, whose wives who ran (and won) when their husbands were stricken or termed-out.
