Part of the "slave class/workerbee/proletariat" and many of us are barely scraping by. All I can do is keep myself updated and informed, vote, etc...but I don't have resources to go march
local protests from state to state are more effective, but being in DC is electrifying.
I remember going to one when George Bush was pResident it was something. All of us fighting for the same cause.
This is what democracy looks like!!! 
One right after Katrina, the other in support of women's reproductive rights. During the first we marched around the WH yelling Liar! Liar! For women, we actually had a milion people.
My only objection to excitable people is the way they a) think all we have to do is show up RFN no airfare involved, and b) someone else will do the planning and if it doesn't happen it's because nobody cares or something.
I'm getting old.
