Marie Yavonovitch being cheered as she headed to her table at a jazz club in DC Sunday night...

Spontaneous ovation tonight at a DC jazz club for #MarieYovanovitch. Grateful for your courage and integrity, Ambassador! #Impeachment #ImpeachTrump

All of this... including the fact she was embarrassed by the attention. Just brilliant.

I have a degree in politics and am a huge history and politics buff. I just took an online sample of the multiple choice portion of the FSOT. I got 9 out of the 15 questions correct. Not remotely a passing score.

Of the 9 I got correct, I flat out guessed at 3 of them and used process of elimination for 2 more.

I know people who have taken the FSOT and the bar exam. All of them said the bar was easier and less stressful.

Here's the sample exam I reference above if anyone is interested. https://www.mometrix.com/academy/fsot-practice-test/

ETA for the curious: The exam is just the beginning of the process of becoming a FSO. If you pass that, then you have to submit a personal narrative and if they like that then you go in for an oral assessment, then medical and security clearance, then a suitability review panel....

She probably sees what she did as doing her duty.

That said, I'm glad that this happened.

Not a hint of pretense or ego. An absolutely delightful lady. She deserves all the accolades she's getting, and more. I'd cheer her if I saw her out shopping for a quart of milk!
