(42,862 posts)It was clever the first time I heard it last year. Now, not so much.
What's next? "Yeah, that's the ticket!" ... "Well, isn't that special?" ... "Was it... SATAN?" ... "Just a wild-and-crazy guy!" ... "It's always something!" ... "Makin' copie-e-e-es!" So, if/when that happens, I wonder if his admirers and apologists be fawning all over that as well?
The one line of his I'll always remember (paraphrasing here) is the one that went something like this: "A vote for Gore is a vote for Bush."
Moore is a total waste of flesh. A showboating conman. I can't stand him.

(14,164 posts)Is it any wonder we lose all our media to the RW. The purists on our side is so debilitating to moving forward.
Michael Moore is a legend in documentary film story telling. From Roger and Me, to Fahrenheit 911 to Sicko, and others, he's been brave enough to speak truth to power, mostly Republican power. Corporate power. He has probably "woke" many young people and others who then voted Democratic. Including all the work he's done touring campasses before elections to get out the vote for Democrats.
I find it utterly classless and appalling to watch American liberals continue to cut off every influential ally who has worked for decades on our side, because of some perceived slight or another.
