daycare worker fired for sending this note to mom

https://www.stlucianewsonline.com/daycare-leaves-nasty-note-in-kids-lunchbox-put-him-on-a-diet/

(NEW YORK POST) — Fat chance this boy stays at this daycare!

A Texas mom sent her son to daycare with a note looking to “make him smile at lunchtime,” only to find a nasty return missive instructing her to “put him on a diet and go away!”

Francesca Easdon was stunned by the callous response and went on her Facebook page to share the note she found in the lunchbox of her son, Kyler, Fox News reported.

The mom’s original message, sent along with his lunch, lovingly read, “Please tell Kyler that his mommy loves him so much and I’m thinking about him.”

She was outraged when her love note was returned with the obnoxious retort: “No! Put him on a diet and go away!”

“I sent this note in Kylers lunchbox, thinking that it would make him smile at lunch time, but instead, I received this in return from one of the teachers!” Easdon posted.

"You'll never believe what an old woman waiting in line at the grocery store said."

"A student asked a teacher why argblebargle. They had this perfect response."

"This dog saved his master from a poisoned cheerio."

"This child just perfected cold fusion."

"Are smurfs mammals? This farmer from Tennessee isn't so sure."

Stories like this are just clickbait. This shit doesn't happen in real life.

Yes, I often find that to be the case.

It floors me how people (on both sides of the political aisle) are so quick to assume teachers are the ones responsible for everything bad that happens to kids. Of course, teachers are not always right, but even if they did something wrong, sometimes the circumstances were often so provoking that you wonder why they didn't snap years earlier.

My father was a teacher, and most of our family friends were in the teaching profession, and I worked at a daycare/preschool for four years and I have never seen anything like this, so I tend to take stories like this with a huge grain on salt.
