Along with automation, we are going to see some accelerating changes as the technology bubbles to the surface and become ubiquitous. I say ubiquitous because that is the impetus of future computing: transparent and ubiquitous. This is going to be like opening Pandora's box and nothing can be put back in as it flies out.

I think this provides a good challenge to some of the opinions being expressed about Yang's views on the 4th Industrial Revolution. It is also going to have the potential, (along with other technologies and sciences) to achieve exponential growth and our awareness and ability to understand what's going on is vital.

In one of the segments they caution that Cambridge Analytica was child's play compared to how sophisticated AI has become and continues to evolve.

Let's hope that forewarned is forearmed...

Peter Thiel, a couple of Trump backers, on the forefront of this technology. It's an issue that won't go away anytime soon. Probably never.
