1. Totally normal non-story. This is the way the courts are supposed to work.

The release is stayed because if the release were granted, that would make the entire case go away. There would be nothing left for the Supreme Court to decide.

It's a bit like staying an execution in order to hear the appeal. There would be not case if they let the execution happen while waiting to hear the appeal.

This is standard procedure. It's not proof that anyone is a Trump crony.

It's no big deal. People are just looking for something to get worked up about.
