The old "CLINTON STAFFERS STOLE THE 'W' OFF ALL THE KEYBOARDS!" all over again...
I guess 18 years is long enough for some people to forget.

(62,444 posts)That is a lie which was promulgated by the Bush team.
I am surprised to see it repeated here.

(82,849 posts)But, see, these notes were, like, totally camouflaged by being on books, and nobody in the Trump administration ever looks at let alone reads a book. But some free-lancing staffer finally opened a book this week, and lo and behold, they found these horrible, terrible, no good, very bad notes.

(56,848 posts)how come Sean Spicer and SHS never made that claim? Are we sure it's not notes from Sanders on her way out?

(48,867 posts)While cautious GSA staffers won't issue a blanket exoneration of the Clinton team, Bernard Ungar, the agency's director of physical infrastructure, told Salon the media clearly exaggerated the extent of the damage. According to the terse GSA statement that formed the basis of Ungar's conclusion, "the condition of the real property was consistent with what we would expect to encounter when tenants vacate office space after an extended occupancy."
Rep. Bob Barr, R-Ga., the ardent Clinton foe who requested the GAO review, has tried to interpret the agency's findings to mean no "record of damage" had been compiled, not that no damage had occurred. But the lack of records "cataloging" any damages -- which Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer promised in January the White House would compile -- would seem to suggest one thing: Widespread acts of vandalism never occurred.

(58,785 posts)in one-syllable words. Yoooge clues.
Obama's staffers did leave detailed summaries of work performed in their positions and useful data for those coming in, and the clear expectation that successors would be either able to understand or willing to perform their job duties according to ethical standards may have offended. Certainly professional vocabulary and routinely complex sentences wouldn't have helped.

In 2007, Grisham was the spokeswoman for AAA Arizona, but was fired within a year after being accused of cheating on expense reports. Grisham was fired from a subsequent job at ad agency Mindspace over plagiarism charges, copying AAA material verbatim into her client's web page.
From 2008 to 2010, Grisham worked as a spokeswoman for the Arizona Charter Schools Association
Then, Grisham served as spokeswoman for Arizona attorney general Tom Horne. She witnessed the badly botched execution of Joseph Wood and caused a scandal by claiming that the two hour ordeal had been "quite peaceful".
Next, Grisham worked as a spokesperson for the Arizona House of Representatives Republican caucus. She revoked the Arizona Capitol Timess press credentials hours after their reporting that the House speaker, David Gowan, had traveled at state taxpayers expense during his campaign for Congress. Reporters refused to comply, and Gowan rescinded the order.

Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham. In December 2015 in Arizona, Ms. Grisham was arrested for driving under the influence. She pleaded guilty and was fined, and in August 2016 the court ordered her into a treatment program. It was a second offense: In 2013 she was arrested for driving under the influence, speeding and driving with an invalid license.
In January 2013 in Gilbert, Maricopa County, Arizona. Grisham was pulled over for speeding while behind the wheel of an SUV. The officer observed Grisham's signs of intoxication and she failed a field sobriety test. Grisham denied consuming any alcohol, but said she had taken a Xanax 90 minutes earlier and a Zoloft the prior night. A blood test revealed Grishams blood alcohol content to be .105 percent which exceeds the .08 legal limit in Arizona. Grisham was offered, and accepted, a plea bargain agreement that reduced the charge to reckless driving.
In December 2015, Gilbert was arrested in Arizona by the Phoenix Police. Grisham failed to appear at her court hearing in January 2016, whereupon a City Court judge issued a warrant for her arrest. Grisham pleaded guilty to DUI and was ordered to pay about $1600 in court costs and fines. Grishams July 2016 conviction occurred while she was working as a press aide for President Trumps 2016 presidential campaign.
