South Dakota says, 'Meth. We're On It,' and Twitter asks, Are you guys OK?

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — People across the nation are talking about it: South Dakota is on meth.

The buzz on both national news and social media focused on a new anti-drug ad campaign led by Gov. Kristi Noem.
The tagline? "Meth. We're on it."

Noem launched the campaign to bring awareness to the meth epidemic in South Dakota, and the ad going viral on its first day shows that it's already a success.

Twitter seemed a bit confused by the campaign:

wondering who green lighted this campaign. SD governor seems to think it's successful since people are talking about it. I actually lmao when I saw it...thinking it was a joke.

What is the point of a campaign like this? To get people talking about your issue. And we are. For every 20 people who make fun of the slogan, 1 might lead to a serious conversation with someone about it.
