Never underestimate the willingness of some DUers to denigrate "the American people"

When Americans do something "smart", you won't credit them,
when they do something "stupid", they get ALL the blame.

TED STRICKLAND! How in the HELL did Kasich beat him? He really lit up the place. His one-liner "If Mitt Romney was Santa Claus, he'd fire the reindeer and outsource the elves" was tremendous. Hope he makes a comeback.

And not in a Democratic vs Republican way, but rather a human spirit/love/family way.
And Michelle was the best. 
I heard one commentator say something about how most of the R's who spoke at their snoozefest talked mostly about themselves. Turned to Mr. Care Acutely and said, "Well duh - that's the only thing republicans are interested in, themselves."
Their country club party was boring. We looked like AMERICA.
