(57,885 posts)2. Schiff's closing remarks provided an excellent summary of the day's testimony and Trump's crimes.
He summarized why it was a bribery: Trump conditioned providing an official act (missiles, White House visit) for a thing of value to Trump personally (manufactured dirt on Biden and Crowdstrike and a Biden-besmirching public announcement by Ukraine of an investigation into Biden/Burisma and 2016 US election/Crowdstrike servers).
In short, it was missiles for manufactured dirt.
