Bio, via US Department of State:

Prior to joining the Department, Mr. Brechbuhl was president of Appenzeller Point, LLC, a family investing and consulting business. He also served as the executive chairman of Avadyne Health and on the board of five other healthcare and financial services businesses. Mr. Brechbuhl graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1986 and served as a cavalry officer with the Second Armored Cavalry Regiment patrolling the Iron Curtain before its fall. He also served with the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry in the U.S. Army’s First Calvary Division during the Persian Gulf War. After leaving active duty, Mr. Brechbuhl graduated from Harvard Business School, receiving his Master of Business Administration in 1994. Since then he worked with Bain and Company, Inc., and has served as the CFO and CEO of multiple companies, both private equity owned and publicly traded. Born in Switzerland, Mr. Brechbuhl grew up in Garden City, New York, and speaks French, German, and Swiss-German.

Ukraine, just a guy doing his job for his country. He seems to be implying that he didn't connect the dots that Burisma meant "Bidens". Said "I thought it was a very bad idea to hold that money". Said "no one mentioned the Bidens specifically".

He did say, however, and specifically, that "there was a quid pro quo", he can apparently see that now, in hindsight.

Right.

I PRAY someone asks "Why was the Ambassador to the EU involved in this so heavily, given that Ukraine is not IN the EU?"

Even if they illegally held up aid for mud on "Burisma". I'm not optimistic this will change anyone's mind on the right. But yeah, they're all guilty as f*ck.
