We know that New York is waiting until Trump is out of office to prosecute his crimes, and we believe Russia (and therefore Trump) has kompromat on nearly every Republican senator. We might have a stalemate forcing a vote to remove, with the outcome unclear.

But they damn sure aren't going to do anything about it. They've been active participants and colluders in the Trump administration corruption right up to their beady eyeballs. They're not going to go quietly or make the job of true patriots any easier.

If you've ever played Monopoly, there comes a point where it's obvious who's going to win. One player has the most expensive properties, everyone else is just trying to survive one more circuit around the playing board.
