Trump didn't say if it was discovered he was involved in a shooting
he said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and would not lose any of his voters.
What we are seeing is not unearthing a "smoking gun" a la Nixon, but seeing Trump shooting someone in full view of everyone.
We shall see about his supporters, but I think he was right about them. The Rethugs in Congress are showing this to be true.
