Even Sondland already said that he and Pence didn’t have a conversation about them, right? He said that Pence just acted like he knew the deal and didn’t react or anything.

So this tweet is meaningless except that it leaves open the likelihood that he didnhave a conversation like this with someone else.

That hearkens back to Watergate when Senator Saxbe (R-Ohio) expressed some disbelief that White House staff claimed to know nothing about the related events: “kind of reminds me of the piano player in a bawdy house who didn’t know what was going on upstairs.”

Plus, it's fun to see Pence's name in the same sentence as 'whore-house'!

19. Sondland didn't say they had a "conversation",

just that he told Pence and Pence "took it in", but qas not otherwise responsive. However, we do know that Jennifer Williams wrote similar information that was intended to be in Pence's briefing book. Whether it got into Pence's briefing book is not known although Williams was told that it did.
