How much strength is left on the camel's back?

Could Sondland be the final straw?

It all depends on Mitch McConnell.
If he decides Trump is doing more damage than good for Republicans, Trump will be gone.
If not, he stays.
The whole thing lies on Mitch McConnell's camel's back.

that all DUers who live in states with Republican Senators who are running for reelection need to make phone calls to their Senators' offices to let them know that they need to vote to remove The Orange One from office and that they will lose reelection if they don't. In particular, DUers who live in Kentucky need to call ALL of Moscow Mitch's offices on a daily basis. If he fears losing the majority, and (most importantly) if he fears that he will lose his own job, he just might take this Senate trial seriously.

I am in Oregon (Merkley and Wyden) with two Dem Senators who will certainly vote to oust Trump, so I will call once to let them know how I feel.

I expect an 11th hour 25th Amendment ploy—the physical could be part of it.
