Bolton asked her to go down to Sondland's "meeting" to find out what was going on. Hill said she was alarmed. She came in while Vindman and Sondland were discussing the point of the meeting. Perry had already left. Sondland said "they 'had a deal' for the meeting IF the Ukrainians opened up the Burisma investigations".

Vindman had protested that "they weren't allowed to be involved in this". She said she told Sondland they needed to go through the regular process - all in front of the Ukrainians.
