What's your take on CBS news?

Fair and balanced?
Left leaning?
Right leaning?

I kinda like the morning show because it's not all politics.
But I feel they give too much credence to right wing talking points and...fantasies?

Whut chall thank?

I do NBC or MSNBC.
I think NBC tries to swing moderate right however, I have seen some leftward leanings in the morning show.

5. They all have a corporate- RW bent. There is no liberal media.

Since the fairness doctrine was done away with it has been that way.

I use the AM shows to see what slant is being pushed-not to get actual news.

They all suck but daytime CNN & after 4pm I switch to MSNBC.

For news & sanity-try this

Stephanie Miller is my favorite.

8. Owned by RWNJ Sumner Redstone who had David Rhodes of Fox News running CBS News

for years. Rhodes was trained by Roger Ailes. Rhodes approved the bogus Lara Logan (now of Fox News) Benghazi story that stained the 60 Minutes reputation.

Major Garrett of formerly of Fox News with Obama derangement syndrome now works there. Gayle King in the morning show is a long time both-sider like Bob Schieffer used to be.

Did not know Garrett was a Fox alum.
That explains a lot.

sometimes really miss it. The way it used to be. Actually CNN in it's Turner days. Now it doesn't matter which station, they all produce varying bouts of pissed-offed-ed-ness. Not the way I want to live. Reading is fine, but even that has to be selective...same as websites.

No cable, no satellite, no broadcast.

Our television plays DVDs and Netflix. That's all it does.

Television news and opinion is especially worthless.
