Republicans, even RW ones, admire & respect backbone. I heard it on RW radio today:

Two right wing personalities on (KFI - LA) discussing how they were both better off now then they were 4 years ago, as evidenced by the stock market, and then how they thought Biden's "Bin Laden is dead, and GM is alive" statement was a powerful one. It was a short, but sincere discussion. They then quickly realized they might not be following party line, and went back on message.

I do believe right wing Republicans admire and respect backbone.

I doubt that we'll get many Republican votes, but hopefully the few folks on the fence might be inclined to vote for Obama, based on our stand.

THAT is why they went with the Tea Party in 2010. If we show serious starch this year, it'll be why they stand with us in 2012.
