One of the witnesses observed that many in the State Dept. and the NSA

are foreign born. And it was praised. These immigrants provided important experience and point of views and are proud to be Americans. But for a xenophobic isolationist Trump, they are hindrance.

That's the lay of the land now. *Republicans* are rejecting the contributions of proud, loyal, patriotic, foreign born people with deep expertise and valuable experience and knowledge.

It is not Trump. It is the GOP fullstop.
