Small Town Texas School District rejects naming school after local War hero

I guess a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient doesn't qualify for naming an Elementary School when the last name is Benavidez. I guess I wont be stopping around El Campo, Texas anymore for gas or food.

North, West or East of San Antonio. El Campo is a good example of why. A little white trash jizz splat in the road with nothing to commend it, and plenty of hate and ignorance to make it a no-stop, no matter what. I'd push a broken down car to Wharton before I'd spend any time there.

However, I moved from Wharton a few months ago and there is plenty of racism there too.
