He plays on his phone, watches TV, and eats. That's pretty much it.

There is an actual work-type office near the Oval where most Presidents (Obama, for example) do the actual messy papers on the desk kind of work. I'm sure Trump doesn't use that room either.

BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WORK!

And if he's down in the working section of the White House, then the staff is fully aware of this fact that he (repeat after me) doesn't work. He wants to be praised and adored by his subjects, but he hates the job.
