President Trump, responding to criticism of his recent overriding of military justice, has ordered the issuance of a new service ribbon to be worn on the uniforms of all military personnel who have served during his presidency. In an announcement in the Rose Garden, he declared, "The new Warfighters ribbon is designed so our brave military personnel can show their loyalty to their Commander-in-Chief, specifically Donald J. Trump. The design of this service ribbon will make it clear there is only one Commander-in-Chief: ME!"
The presidential Executive Order making this ribbon official includes an image of the new ribbon:
Reactions of the Miitary Chiefs of Staff are unknown at this time.
(Is this really necessary?)

(146,288 posts)It reminds me of Trump's writing with his sharpie. I also chose the very worst possible combination of colors, because that's just what Trump would do.

Traitor Trump should never reprimand in public. You don't have to support every idea your subordinates have but you should not undermine their authority by publically rebuking them. It's leadership 101. If you were trying to command troops and made a mistake, would you want everyone hearing your dressing down? An Ensign learns this the first week. Reprimand in private, reward in public. Otherwise they are going to hate you. And a lot of Naval officers hate Trump.
You don't micromanage your subordinates. If you get your junior officers or senior enlisted afraid to make decisions because you are going to overturn them, then what happens when you are not there? You need to teach your subordinates what you want, and how to make the decisions you want. That's management 102.
But an idiot bone spur coward can never really learn how to be a leader. He mistakes abuse and violence as leadership.
