Am I the only one who is concerned about Jerry Nadler handling the impeachment

with the same professionalism and passion that Schiff did? I am a little concerned he won't be up to the task.

but why can't the dems put Schiff on that committee like the repubs put Gym Jack(et) off on the intel committee just for the hearings. Tit for Tat

The caucus and an army of lawyers are writing the articles. He’s not doing it by himself. He really doesn’t have to do much other than hold a hearing where they receive and vote on the recommendations from Schiff’s committee to impeach.

He's not unflappable. Schiff - you can't get to him. You just can't.

I'm also worried that he won't call Capitol Police if the GOP or witnesses act the fool.

Besides, Schiff’s oratory is sui generis. Nader will be different and that’s ok.

You just know the Republicans are planning to be disruptive, and Nadler gets flustered.

I hope he learned from Schiff on leading the hearings. Schiff easily commanded decorum and respect, and did not fall for the little tricks and insulting comments the other side hurled at him.

I wish I had more faith in Nadler because you just know they will be up to no good, and be very disrespectful. < sigh >

Nadler's professionalism is hard to fault. Having less passion might be better suited to this phase of the process. I worry generally about our people because of the enormous, maybe unprecedented, stress they are all under. They need to take care of themselves when they can (and that goes for their staffs too).

.... that Cory Lewandowski hearing was quite the flop. We don't want a repeat showing of that sort to marginalize the Dems impeachment work achieved thus far.

He may not be the eloquent Schiff, but the Democrats have a fair amount of long ball hitters on the committee. I'm not concerned at all.
