UK PM Boris Johnson Set To Win Parliamentary Majority: YouGov Model

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/boris-johnson-parliamentary-majority-yougov_n_5ddf0701e4b0d50f329c1166

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on course to win a majority of 68 in parliament at the Dec. 12 election, according to a model from pollsters YouGov that accurately predicted the 2017 election.

I predict all Scottish seats will go SNP.

Scotland will leave the UK if Johnson wins this election. The EU will back the separation referendum that will ensue after a Con win.

An anti-Semitic extremist who identifies as a democratic socialist. It would be like a smarter Trump going against Jill Stein. We'd lose 45 states.

Corbyn is a horrible leader of The Labour Party. Hopefully this referendum finishes him politically. Corny is Johnson's best campaign aid.

I think that British voters are making an enormous mistake backing Brexit. But it will be their bed to lay in moving forward. Johnson is counting on a trade deal with the USA, but what do they make that we can't find elsewhere? Trump may do it, but there is no way that a wise leader would prioritize the needs of 60 million people above those of around 330 million. We basically are giving Europe to France and Germany, one day in a decade or two, Great Britain will come crawling back to get into the EU, but the terms are going to be horrible for them. Britain was basically dying in the early seventies before the EU let them in after DeGaulle died (he was a vicious hater of everything British and prevented that country from gaining EU membership)

9. In keeping Corbyn as their leader, Labour essentially told the Tories, OK, we give up

Brexit sucks, although the EU keeps insisting on making up fifty useless regulations for things that require at most one, and wastes money faster than it takes it in, basically handing the Brexiteers an argument where they never should have had one in the first place.

With a Labour leader who was half-way decent and ever so slightly flexible, Johnson would have been out on his ear in less than two weeks. With a shadow P.M. as extreme as Corbyn, the Tories could have nominated Thatcher's ghost wearing a BoJo wig and still won.

They already know what they're getting with him. His opponent is even more left than he is right. It would be like a smarter version of Trump going against an even more divisive Jillian Stein. We'd lose 40+ states.

The vote is more anti-Corbyn than it is anti-EU. Having Corbyn as their leader is the very definition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
