Hozier is beginning to write some very political songs. And they're fantastic.
I’ll admit to having been utterly captivated by this man from the first time I heard him in a little SEATTLE club just as Take Me to Church was breaking. I’ve never heard a song by him I didn’t like. But recently he and Mavis Staples did the amazing Nina Cried Power, and now this. We need more of this.
