Option A....possibly lose and election, work to reform the party, shed the baggage that will cost them in the future eventually and appeal to the middle.

Option B....sell your soul, become a base coward and appeal to the worst people while they last. When it becomes clear demographics catch up, resign and become a lobbyist or news commentator.

Option B it is!
