It was pretty clear that the book was written for Republicans, not for us; we already know how awful Trump is. The author was trying to tell Republicans, especially those in Congress, to see the truth. I don't know if they ever will, though.

but gave in. I am almost done listening to it. Nothing really new but interesting to hear it from an insider, a little more upsetting in a few cases. It was interesting to hear the author sound Republican all the while slamming Trump all over the place. I guess the crazy support from our elected officials has made us suspect all R's will somehow end up falling in line. This encouraged me a bit but since we don't know who it is it is all still up for grabs.

While "A Warning" has some interesting anecdotes, it doesn't tell us much more than we really know, which is that Trump is a dangerously incompetent asshole who shouldn't be anywhere near any position of authority. "Crime in Progress" follows the money, which even the Mueller Report didn't, at least that we know of. And the magnitude of Trump's corruption is sort of mind-boggling.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Anonymous can bite me. I have no intention of shelling out a dime to read about how someone almost ran into the burning house to save the baby, or about how someone almost gave up their seat in the lifeboat when the great ship went down, or about how someone almost dove into a freezing river to save a busload of nuns, or, for that matter, about how someone almost decided not to be a part of the most monstrous executive administration since the (un)death of Vlad The Impaler. I am not interested in someone's heartfelt account of their near-collision with actual integrity. I decline to be fascinated by the tale of how someone nearly ran into courage on the street but had to catch a bus instead. Like I said, Anonymous can anonymously bite me.

everything that's already been regurgitated. May skip forward. It actually sounds so totally like the tone and tenor of the Wolfe book.

After so many disappointments with various knights-errant who made some noise about 45, but got washed away in their own drama (think: Michael Avenatti, etc.).

I hope Anonymous is genuine, but I’m not putting any money on that possibility.
