I’ll bet he has a hand picked protégé but who’s to say wether those jackals would honor it? I’ll bet there will be a power war.

can be so hard. I've heard the name a few times. I watched 3 episodes of Chernobyl before I could remember their names, maybe it's just me.😒

And I've gotten to know them a little bit better than most.

But yeah, it's easy to confuse their names and faces.

(Also, Chernobyl was phenomenal, but that's a different story.)

If so, I've pictured dingleberry in chief as a mid level Bond Villain and pooty as the head of Spectre.

...they see elections as necessary, but also destabilizing to the "empire".

Trump getting the presidency and being used by Putin, the stupidity of Brexit and of course, having to deal with Yeltsin...gives them confirmation that once you get a strong authoritarian leader, you keep that leader around for awhile.

He swaps places with Putin periodically to give the appearance of a change of power, but Putin is still always in charge. Medvedev would likely take the mantle from Putin.
