(31,261 posts)China is about four times larger than us. The net number of it's middleclass and rich is larger than ours and growing. Europe has a lot of upside marketing certain products to China that Trump's tariffs punish. In addition, China has tech companies that are starting to rival our's, tariffs will push Europe right into the arms of those companies.
