I think I understand Turley's motivation.

I've heard him speak before. He's basically a contrarian. His positions may hold some principle, but in large part, he's taking the opposite side just to do it. He's a more intelligent version of Alan Dershowitz.

Academia is full of such people.

5. The only thing positive about Turley is that he knew not to vote for Trump. Trump guiltyis clearly

guilty. The issue seems to be do you care more about Trump Republican Party or our Democracy. It sounds like Turley's biggest argument is the process is going too quickly not the evidence itself.

9. I've been thinking about your post a lot. It struck me as right on the mark and...

... I was sure I'd responded. Apparently not.

But having seen on Rachel last night his performance as defense counsel for a corrupt judge in an impeachment, I think that he's actually playing the part of counsel for the defense rather than expert witness. You pay me and I'll devise the best argument possible for your defense. Don't tell me whether or not your guilty.

10. Do the witnesses receive renumeration for their testimony?

Don't expert witnesses get paid for appearing in court?
