QUESTION: Let's say -- the HOUSE Impeaches Trump & he is acquitted by the SENATE

IF TRUMP COMMITS MORE CRIMES. .... Say he drops bombs on Nova Scotia (just cuz he felt like it),
Slaughters 15 people with 2 guns who are standing around the oval office and sends 45 letters laced with ricin
to the Governor of Texas and Maine. 20 people die. Mike Pence helps him do all these crimes.

Can THEY BOTH IMPEACHED??? CAN TRUMP BE IMPEACHED AGAIN?

impeached again and, if facts warrant, MiniMe along with him. Practically speaking I don't believe you would ever get a majority voting for another impeachment, regardless of whatever Trump chose to do.

so he would remain in office. if in the scenario i wrote in my op ..... he then could have MORE ..... NEW articles of impeachment lodged against him ... by the house.

We need what? 15+ Senators to break rank? Fools gold there. You may not get a single Rep to jump ship and at least 1 or 2 Dems will probably be against impeachment.

it's a dog and pony show at this point. YES, I agree we should proceed against this criminal President, but no way it gets through the Senate.

The Constitution says a conviction in an impeachment requires two-thirds concurrence of those senators who are present when the vote is taken. With the number of Democrats we have, if there are no more than 63 total senators in attendance we can kick him out of office and hand him over to the New York Attorney General with absolutely no Republican votes.
