Biomedical Sciences Professor job listing at Liberty University

I stumbled upon a posting for an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Liberty University. Here are couple of paragraphs which you may find interesting:

Posting Number A00169P Classification Title Position Type Adjunct Faculty Disclaimer

Liberty University's hiring practices and EEO Statement are fully in compliance with both federal and state law. Federal law creates an exception to the "religion" component of the employment discrimination laws for religious organizations (including educational institutions), and permits them to give employment preference to members of their own religion. Liberty University is in that category.

And if there wernt an exceptions clause, half the shit that got visited on the Israelites would be considered a crime against humanity.

You know what's weird... they also have an opening for a physics professor, and it doesn't have that line.

What? Nobody wants a teacher who thinks gravity is just a theory or says that all the starlight in the sky is just a lie to test our faith?

12. Bet all their applicants are the products of billions of years of evolution, and thus don't qualify.

Surely, actually being the result of life evolving on a very NON-young Earth counts as "incompatible".

2. Someone as dumb as a box of rocks, and
3. A lying sack of shit.

With a bit of luck the new hire will be all three.

Their idea of biomedical science and the rest of the world's is no doubt far, far apart.

From them online. They were stationed in South Korea for 2 yrs because of her husband and she couldn’t work so wanted to get a degree, she had no idea it was religious and picked it because it was cheaper...

She didn’t tell me who she got her degree from until after and I told her that is Jerry Faldwell’s school, she said who is that? I said the weird religious guy.

She found out quick even online they made her take a religion class, and being in the military and not going to church themselves but having many religious friends she knew how to talk.

All the bless you’s and I will pray for you aside she got her degree. She really did learn some accounting but the fun part is now she lives in Texas and going for her CPA. She is studying for the tests and has been hired by great accounting firm to start this summer.

The fun part is that she had to retake her ethics class because Texas didn’t accept the one she took there. I guess Liberty doesn’t teach its moral values well....
