Oh, that explains it. They gave Trump a different IG Report
Trump tweeted in response to FBI Director Christopher Wray's comments on the report:
“I don’t know what report current Director of the FBI Christopher Wray was reading, but it sure wasn’t the one given to me,” Trump tweeted. With that kind of attitude, he will never be able to fix the FBI, which is badly broken despite having some of the greatest men & women working there!” Wray also told ABC on Monday that the inspector general “did not find political bias or improper motivations impacting the opening of the investigation or the decision to use certain investigative tools during the investigations.” He rejected characterizing the bureau’s work as that of the “deep state” — a term Trump has used. “I think that’s the kind of label that’s a disservice to the men and women who work at the FBI who I think tackle their jobs with professionalism, with rigor, with objectivity, with courage,” he said. “So that’s not a term I would ever use to describe our workforce, and I think it’s an affront to them.” --- Now it makes sense. Like intelligence reports, they didn't give him the actual, real one!

1. It was to long for him to read so they gave him the "Barr notes" version.

4. Look how Bloatus plays both sides
The FBI is "badly broken despite having the greatest men and women working there."
That's like saying "The food at that restaurant is horrible, even though it's prepared by the finest chefs." What an asshole. |

6. Well Trump has to have simple, one item, visual reports presented to him.
He ignores and doesn't have the capability to read detailed, text reports so he probably was given a different report.

10. Power point with 1 bullet point....3 bullet points are too many for him.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thewrap.com/warning-anonymous-trump-official-highlights-takeaways/amp/
Per The Warning, by Anonymous: During the president’s briefings, aides were told to reduce information down to PowerPoints with a single bullet point "Early in Trump’s presidency, the author said that Oval Office briefers were first told not to bring “lengthy documents” or “summaries” and, if they had to bring paper to their meeting with Trump, to use PowerPoint slides. But that soon proved to be too much information for the president, who “couldn’t digest too many slides.” Briefers were then told to keep things to a maximum of three bullet points, even for complicated issues, like “military readiness or the federal budget.” And when the president still struggled to comprehend the three bullet points, briefers were advised to keep their meetings with Trump down to just a single bullet point.".....(more) |
