I'm SO tired of candidates buying the White House

I’m tired of it from BOTH SIDES—both parties. It started with Reagan’s millions and has progressed to billions—which shows just how cancerous the practice is.

I’m on the way out the door but I had to stop and vent after seeing yet another pop up ad from a billionaire.

Fuck. Them. All.

as long as they are otherwise qualified. But I'm not really interested in candidates whom are in races as "political hobbyists" or are buying their way into a race to influence primaries one way or another. I have no love for any of the current billionaire candidates currently in the race and would gladly want to show them to the door.

perhaps the most honest way is spending your own money to do so.

Making promises with other peoples money especially promises which they have no way of achieving is far more destructive. The reason it is more destructive is because it results in disenchantment and disengagement from the disappointed followers.

President Obama didn't buy the White House.

President W. Bush didn't buy the White House; the Supreme Court selected him.

President Clinton didn't buy the White House.

Hell, even Trump didn't buy the White House; the Russians gave it to him.

What are you talking about? Michael Bloomberg? He's spending his own money. Isn't that allowed in a free country?
