According to an exclusive report from Bloomberg, Senate Republicans are saying there’s a growing “early consensus” that a short impeachment trial that could see the GOP-led chamber “vote on a likely acquittal of President Donald Trump without hearing from any witnesses” is the way to go.

“Senator Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican, said a growing number of the Senate’s 53 GOP members want to simply let House Democrats make their case to impeach the president and then hear a rebuttal from Trump’s team before moving immediately to a vote on the articles of impeachment,” Bloomberg’s Laura Litvan and Steven T. Keep the investigation going and simply add more articles to the impeachment all the way through the election. If trump is reelected then send to senate.

Expanding on Dean's suggestion, I would:

1. Get this initial impeachment stain on his record with these 2 charges, but tell the Senate that we are not ready to send it over because there may be additional charges that need further investigation. (Don't allow him to claim exoneration in the Senate.)
2. The only way to get iron-clad evidence of an Article of Bribery is to get the Supremes to say that Don the Con's henchmen must testify to Congress. This will nullify their claim that we proceeded too quickly without court approval.
3. Milk the clock against the stained incumbent while continuing to investigate him and make sure any newly uncovered dirty deeds hit the msm. Send all of the articles over on November 4th, 2020. If he cheats again and wins, then that may be our last shot at cleansing the WH. If he loses, a Democratic Senate can throw his ass out a couple of months early because the Repukes would probably care less at that point. That would be the ULTIMATE STAIN on his record - beaten TWICE in the popular vote, impeached, AND REMOVED FROM OFFICE.
